More than 2500 students sit for entry exam at SNU

More than 2,500 students sat down for the entry exam at the Somali National University for the academic year 2017-2018. The students who have successfully completed their high school education come from all over the country.

The entry exam was held at different SNU campuses including KM4 and Hamar Weyne campuses. Some the students expressed their gratitude towards the government for giving them the opportunity to get affordable higher education.

The Somali National University currently offers nine faculties including Engineering, Education, Medicine, Law, Agriculture, Veterinary, Journalism, Islamic Studies and Economics.

The prime minister Mr. Kheyre and other officials from the government were also at the campus to witness how the exam was held and the large number of students taking the exam.

The rector of SNU Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Jimale, thanked the students for their interest at SNU and assured them that they will get world class education at the university. The rector also thanked parents for intrusting their children to the Somali National University.
